Nonverbal Communication in Extended Reality
Project Involvement: Lead, Research Design, Content Writing
Performed user experience testing on Meta Quest Pros to assess the ease of navigation, user's emotional responses, and the overall engagement levels of participants. Analyzed interpersonal communication dynamics in social VR applications to evaluate the extent to which users adopt avatars as extensions of themselves and how VR impacts social interactions. Authored 10+ papers based on findings from qualitative and quantitative research, exploring themes such as identity expression, social norms in virtual environments, and the influence of VR technology on user behavior and emotional connection.
